SOFTLOAF LAB
Terms of use
Effective: 2026-08-26
Account service
SoftLoaf Lab provides the account service. Accounts are available only to users aged 14 or older; by registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Use an email address you control, protect your password, and do not share or sell accounts or attack or disrupt the service. Contact support@softloaflab.com for account issues.
Three-day no-export trial
One continuous period of three 24-hour days starts after a new user signs in, explicitly consents, and successfully activates, without requiring a subscription. Each account and product may receive at most one trial. Windows and macOS share one deadline; a second platform or approved key replacement receives only time remaining before the original deadline. Reinstalling the app, clearing local data, changing keys, or changing the local clock does not pause, reset, or extend it. The trial allows in-app project opening, creation, adjustment, and preview only; every file-output path is prohibited, including single, batch, 16-bit, and CLI/headless export. No payment method is collected, no charge or annual subscription is created, and the trial does not auto-renew. Starting an annual subscription requires a separate confirmation and transaction.
Subscription licence, not resale
An active annual subscription licenses the named user to use SoftLoaf Negative for personal or commercial work during the subscription term. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale, account sharing, or bypassing device limits. The personal plan serves one user; the team plan assigns its four seats to four distinct users.
Renewal, cancellation, and expiry
Annual subscriptions are paid in advance and renew automatically each year until canceled through Paddle or the account page. Cancellation preserves paid access through the current term, then stops future charges and access to paid features. Unless applicable law, Paddle's refund policy, or checkout states otherwise, unused time is not refunded pro rata. The price, taxes, and plan scope disclosed or lawfully notified before renewal apply to the next term.
Devices and available versions
The personal plan lets one user activate one device at a time. The team plan lets each of four distinct users activate one device at a time, with self-service device switching. An active subscription includes the current versions and continuous updates offered during its term; an application version number is not a promise of perpetual ownership of a major version. The plan, price, and device scope shown at checkout will control.
Digital delivery and refunds
Software access and the subscription licence begin after payment and the user's express request for immediate delivery. Cancellation and refunds are separate. Eligibility and amount are governed by applicable law and the policy of Paddle as Merchant of Record, and apply only to the qualifying charge. After the applicable refund period, a change of mind, forgetting to cancel, low usage, or failure to use the features is not a refund reason; completed or expired historical subscription terms are not refunded. This does not limit rights concerning statutory withdrawal, non-delivery, duplicate charges, material defects, or misdescription.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms to comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements, or material service changes. For an update that materially affects you, we will give notice before it takes effect as applicable law requires and, where required, ask you to reconfirm before continuing the relevant service.
Test builds
Test builds are intended to find compatibility and workflow defects. Unsigned or unreleased packages are only for informed testers and are not formal sales releases. Testers should understand system warnings, retain source files, and back up projects.
Responsibility
The software is not a substitute for source-media and project backups. These terms do not exclude non-waivable consumer rights or liability for defects, misdescription, or failure to perform the contract.
